Dhobi Ghat shows the life of 4 different people with different aspirations and backgrounds in the dream city.. Mumbai--- Arun- a painter( Aamir), Shai- a banker and an aspiring photographer ( Monica Dogra), Munna- a Dhobi (Prateik), Yasmin- ex resident where Arun stays currently (Kriti Malhotra).
The back ground score by Gustavo Santaolalla is the Heart of Dhobi ghat. Kiran Rao makes a mature debut and audience can expect many more good movies from her.
Aamir again shows the depth in his acting and performances by Prateik, kriti and Specially Monica are admirable.
Dhobi Ghat's Depth amazes you. I won't go into the details of the story. But to put it simply, it is 'no-compromise' Cinema at its best.
